The combat could use some love, as well as the loot that drops from these combat encounters. Armour and weapons should feel more interesting to find, and the balance needs a fair bit of work to not feel jarring.

is really dark when it wants to be, which is most of the time. But you’ll also come across clearings — like a glowing flower-lit river, or a massive chewed-out tunnel that conveniently forms a perfect circle around the game’s starting area — and the lighting-fueled atmosphere hits that much harder.

There are basically 2 classes in this game at this point, Melee and Ranged, because Magic and Summoner are barely playable - Magic is not the worst, but they can only get 1 weapon crafted, from what I've seen. Where every other weapon is an RNG drop, and makes it really difficult to get them as you wont be able to get stronger with easy to get gear. Summoner is absolutely painful to play as a class.

Soul of Ra-Akar. Once a power is collected, the boss's sigil is added to the Souls tab of the character screen. Each sigil can be clicked to toggle that ability on or off.

Generally speaking, it's a good idea to place your base near the Core. The Core has a Waypoint which can teleport you to other areas, and crafting your own Waypoints and Portals is expensive.

This is not an achievements guide, but working through all the sections below could bag about half of them.

Still being early access, there isn’t much of a tutorial, or, like, any tutorial at all, so be on the lookout for little visual cues to learn how to interact with things. Different icons will become highlighted and let you know how to open various other menus, so if you’re trying to do something and not having much success, just take a second to see if Core Keeper Gameplay the game is desperately trying to tell you to press E instead of angrily clicking away.
